Top and bottom rollers for mining excavators and bulldozers

A full range of rollers for bulldozers and excavators are offered by RTD Mining with a range of 40 and 100 tonnes. All top and bottom rollers are made in accordance with OEM specifications. The rollers have bronze bushings and high-quality seals. The top and bottom rollers have been developed using reinforced flanges and special seals. High-quality steel is forged in a special way.

The heat treatment makes the rollers tough and the hardening process makes the rollers more wear resistant. A long lifespan can be guaranteed even in relation to large-scale use.

Top rollers
The track and track shoes are carried by the top rollers.

Bottom rollers
Bottom rollers carry the weight of the machine and ensure the machine can move over the track. The combination of the height of the integration and the height of the link of the bottom roller determine the elevation of the undercarriage. This means that the end drive, sprocket and idler of the machine are not loaded. The undercarriage of the machine will drop down when the bottom rollers and the track links wear and then the load will be carried by the end drive, sprocket and idler. This means that these parts may break. Excavators, bulldozers and mini excavators use different bottom rollers.

Different types of bottom rollers

Bottom rollers for excavators: they have a thick axle so that they can carry the load of the machine. Since the machine drives little, the bottom rollers have a small diameter on the tread.
Bottom rollers for bulldozers: they have a large tread because these machines ride a lot. Different flanges are installed alternatively to guide the track better. A bottom roller has a large oil tank to ensure the roller is cooled sufficiently.
